Choosing the right Medicare plan can be tough, and the wrong choice could cost you thousands. That’s why our licensed Medicare specialists offer free plan comparisons to help you find the best coverage at the best price.
How to Choose a Medicare Plan
1. Know Your Options – Decide between Original Medicare (Parts A & B) + Part D or Medicare Advantage (Part C), which may include drug coverage.
2. Check Drug Coverage – Make sure your medications are covered under the plan’s formulary (drug list).
3. Compare Costs – Look at premiums, deductibles, copays, and out-of-pocket limits.
4. Consider Doctor & Hospital Networks – If you choose Medicare Advantage, check if your doctors and hospitals are in-network.
5. Look for Extra Benefits – Some plans offer dental, vision, hearing, and wellness perks.
6. Get Expert Help – MAC Insurance can compare plans for you and help find the best fit.
Choosing the right plan can save you money and give you better coverage!
Here are some tips to guide you in choosing the right plan:
● Consider the balance between premium and coverage. Do you prefer to pay higher premiums for more coverage, or take a chance with lower premiums?
● If you travel frequently, a Medicare Supplement Plan might be the best choice since it’s accepted wherever Original Medicare is.
● Check with your doctors to see if they accept Medicare Advantage, or if they only accept Original Medicare. And, of course, we are here to help you make an informed decision—at no cost to you.
When choosing the right Medicare Supplement Plan for you, the decision comes down to balancing coverage and premiums.
Medicare Supplement Plan F offers the most comprehensive coverage, covering all your cost-sharing for covered services, meaning you’ll have no out-of-pocket expenses.
Medicare Supplement Plan G provides almost as much coverage, with the only exception being that you’ll still need to pay the Part B deductible once per year.
There are also eight other supplement plans available, each offering varying levels of coverage and premium savings.
Medicare Advantage plans often have low or even $0 premiums and may include extra benefits not covered by Original Medicare, such as:
● Dental coverage
● Vision coverage
● Caregiver Counseling and Training
● Housekeeping help
● Prescription Drug Coverage

ADDITIONAL QUESTIONS TO BE ADVISED ON:
Medicare options include Original Medicare (A & B) for hospital and doctor visits, Medicare Advantage (C) for all-in-one coverage, Part D for prescriptions, and Medicare Supplement for extra cost coverage. MAC Insurance can help you choose the best plan.
Original Medicare (A & B) covers hospital and doctor visits, but you pay deductibles and 20% of costs and it doesn’t include drug, dental, or vision coverage. Medicare Advantage (C) is a private plan that includes hospital, doctor, and often drug coverage, plus extras like dental and vision, usually with lower costs but network limits.
If you have Original Medicare, a Supplement Plan (Medigap) can help pay deductibles, copays, and coinsurance. It’s useful if you want lower out-of-pocket costs and freedom to see any Medicare doctor.
Not all doctors take Medicare Advantage plans, as they have network restrictions. Original Medicare is accepted by any doctor that takes Medicare.
Not all Medicare plans cover every medication. Medicare Advantage and Part D plans have a list of covered drugs (formulary) that can vary.
Original Medicare doesn’t cover dental, vision, or hearing, but many Medicare Advantage plans do. Coverage varies by plan, so check your options.
